Our In-House activities
To get the most out of your visit, do take a look at our various Spices and Herbs. Although the Garden is very shady, do remember that it can get rather hot and humid in the afternoons, so do plan accordingly if you are sensitive to the heat.
Spice Walks
This walk is one big nature walk where in the beginning you will go through narrow pathways, surrounded by a variety of different trees and vegatation including our island's finest herbs and spices.
This would certainly be a memorable Spice Walk as you would experience the aroma of every spice making it a natural fusion.
You can choose to explore the park on your own as there is instructional signage exhibiting the names and uses of each plant to guide you or you can take part in the guided tours available.
Restaurant
if you’re feeling peckish, dine-in at our In-House Restaurant for an exceptional culinary experience. Our restaurant serves up authentic and purely traditional Sri Lankan favourite dishes where the tempting tangle of tastes from different herbs and spices come in the complex form of aromatic curries and mouthwatering roasted treats from our tandoor ovens.
The coffee you drink, as well as the pepper and cardamom you taste at the restaurant are fresh ground from our spice plantation.
Massage Therapies

Spice Store & Gift Shop
Before you leave, be sure to pick up some souvenirs from the gift store – the Gift Shop has spices as well as herbs, toiletries, oils and spa products for sale. Plus you can also get your hands on a collection of horticultural literature for both beginners and specialists.
